Women’s Educational Awareness and Vocational Enlightenment Meet

(WEAVE), 2016 -a venture initiated by Christukula Mission Women’s English Medium College is a platform intended to bring together young girls, specially of the Higher Secondary Level, together for an enlightenment about the various courses of study, career opportunities, possibilities for women available in the world beyond the walls of their school and home was held on December 17, 2016. We hope to conduct this for the higher secondary students every year with various other themes and invite the participation of schools from all over the region.

A trip to CB Kulam Ashram

A trip to CB Kulam Ashram was also organized to learn the working and functions of the ashram. Students were briefed on the farming methods and techniques and innovative milking technologies were introduced to them. Students also visited the church inside the ashram and learned the practices being followed by the community in the ashram

B.Com students

B.Com students, as a part of their curriculum, organized a sale of various items and advertised for the same. Customers were coaxed by their skill full advertising skills and were attracted to their products. The students managed to sell many of their products and were able to merge their curricular with co curricular activities and hence learn the practical aspect of their theoretical sessions.

Diwali Celebration

Diwali was celebrated in the college before closing for the holidays. Students and the teachers together made a beautiful Rangoli as a part of the celebration

Teachers day

Teachers day was also celebrated by students on the 5th of September. Students organized various games and activities for the teachers.
